BABCP accreditation is how a CBT therapist's competence in delivery is recognised.

How I work

Two structured routes.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Change the way you think, change the way you feel.

CBT works on the link between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. It's practical and focused on the present — we look at what's keeping a problem going and work out, step by step, how to shift it, through collaborative formulation and behavioural experiments. Structured, time-limited, and proven to help with anxiety and low mood.

Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT)

Understand why it keeps happening. Recognise the pattern. Change it.

Some difficulties aren't about a single thought or habit — they're patterns that repeat, often learned early in life and replayed in how we treat ourselves and relate to others. CAT helps you see those patterns clearly and step out of them. Early on, I write you a reformulation letter — your patterns set out in your own story — and together we map them on paper so you can spot them as they happen. It's collaborative and time-limited, usually around 16 sessions.
